∎ The Programmer (UI & UX) reporting to the Project Coordinator will provide an opportunity for designing and implementing UI/UX for website and mobile App related to the public health communication and scientific research-based environment at icddr,b.
∎ Contract Type and duration: Short Term Contractual Service Agreement;duration will be 6 months with a possibility of extension subject to availability of fund and performance.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers
∎ Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps.
∎ Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs, and widgets.
∎ Build page navigation buttons and search fields.
∎ Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look.
∎ Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches, and tables).
∎ Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders.
∎ Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness).
∎ Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback.
∎ Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors, and images
∎ Provide training to the end users in order to develop appropriate and organizational standard software applications for the centre;
∎ Collect feedback from users on existing software for any changes required from the graphical point of view and make necessary changes;
∎ Provide continuous support for user queries in order to ensure smooth operation and continual improvement of the software application.

Additional Requirements:
∎ 3 years experience in the relevant field in a reputed organization. Preference will be given to those having experience in database-driven dynamic web development
∎ Professional exposure in UI/UX Design.
∎ Must have very good knowledge and practical experience in the actual production environments using Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator. Also have experience in Products, Banner, Mobile, and Web Designs (div-based CSS3, HTML5.)
∎ Excellent design skills, including the effective use of the sense of color, form, lighting, and composition.
∎ Be well versed in both digital and print media.
∎ Ability to prepare files for production to exact requirements
∎ Be aware of current market trends in both design and content consumption.

Salary:
∎ Tk. 68,735/- (consolidated) per month inclusive of house rent and conveyance allowances.

∎ Festival bonus, income tax paid by icddr,b and subsidized canteen. Transport and daycare facilities are subject to space availability.
