Educational Requirements:
∎ O-level and A-level qualifications or equivalent
∎ A qualified aircraft maintenance engineer (AME)
∎ Meet or able to meet CAAB requirements for this role
∎ Further education i.e. degree in a relevant field
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 7 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Maintaining a Quality System in accordance with the Quality Manual
∎ Maintaining the Safety Management Systems (SMS) in accordance with the SMS Manual
∎ Promoting a positive quality and safety culture within the programme by quality education and training of staff
∎ Establishing a schedule for regular audits to monitor the effectiveness of the Quality and Safety Management System
∎ Assist with any audits from third parties i.e. local regulators
∎ Auditing local external suppliers and contractors
∎ Establishing corrective and preventative actions (CAPA) in conjunction with
∎ Programme Management and ensuring timely completion and establishing the effectiveness of any corrective and preventative actions taken
∎ Liaising with the Regional Quality Manager and Regional Quality Safety Manager in the exchange of quality and Safety information and reports
∎ Facilitating and participating in the Programme Safety Action Group and keeping records of such meetings
∎ Seeking opportunities for continual improvement
∎ Advising managers on related safety matters, including the development and maintenance of safe operations
∎ Promulgating flight safety-related information programme wide
∎ Leading the investigation of programme safety related events, as appropriate
∎ Maintaining familiarity with all aspects of the programme's activities
∎ Working with the Regional Safety Manager in the identification of safety trends and actively working to address any identified hazards
∎ Making recommendations for the development of standards and procedures to eliminate or reduce risks
∎ Encouraging and supporting a proactive approach to safety
∎ Other reasonable responsibilities as may be required by your line manager

∎ Previous experience within an aviation environment
