∎ Preferred Professional Certification: LAME
∎ Training/Trade Course: aircraft maintenance
∎ Skills Required: Aeronautical/ Aerospace Engineering

∎ At least 5 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Airline, Transportation

Job Responsibilities:
∎ AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE ENGINEER
∎ To ensure that aircraft are maintained in accordance with applicable standards, regulations and safety policies by:
∎ Performing all work in compliance with MAF, CAAB and international aviation maintenance standards within the scope of the capability listing of the Approved Maintenance Organisation
∎ Conducting all work in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions and acceptable data, as appropriate
∎ Certifying work as required
∎ Ensuring that all parts used in the maintenance of the aircraft are sourced from approved suppliers and have been accepted in accordance with receipt procedures
∎ Contributing to a positive safety culture and conducting all work in accordance with the quality and safety management systems
∎ Liaising with CAAB, as required
∎ Communicating any problems of legal compliance
∎ Using safe working practices (including the use of Personal Protection Equipment)
∎ To effectively and efficiently use and maintain the resources in the maintenance department by:
∎ Keeping the hangar, facilities and aircraft support equipment maintained in good condition according to the relevant schedule and quality standards
∎ Ensuring that all special tools are functional and within calibration intervals, as applicable
∎ Ensuring that all necessary and applicable airworthiness information is available
∎ Maintaining the parts inventory in accordance with MAF standards and by use of the MAF approved database
∎ Assisting the programme management in strategic planning regarding the maintenance department
∎ To maintain the required documentation of the maintenance department by:
∎ Ensuring all technical records generated in the course of inspection and maintenance activities are completed, stored, retrieved and reported in accordance with MAF standards
∎ Ensuring that personal records of training, company approvals, licensing and other certifications are maintained current at all times
∎ To contribute to the continual improvement of the maintenance department by:
∎ Actively participating in the Quality and Safety Management Systems
∎ Liaising with the Quality Manager and Chief Engineer to effect timely corrective actions in response to non- conformity reports
∎ Cooperating with and giving necessary assistance to Quality and Safety Auditors
∎ Recommending changes to documented processes and procedures
∎ Utilizing the MAF hazard reporting system
∎ Other reasonable responsibilities as may be required by your line manager
