Educational Requirements:
∎ The candidate must have at least a four-year undergraduate degree and a master's degree in social science/ natural resource management or environmental sciences/ climate change and development/ development studies/ economics/ statistics or any relevant subject from a recognized university with a good academic record.
∎ Advanced training in the area of M&E/ project management/research method is an advantage.
∎ S/he must have at least three first class degrees or equivalent among the latest four. Having 3rd class/division or equivalent in any examination will incur ineligibility.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Undertake quality control of the monitoring activities of the PMU staffs
∎ Prepare the common indicators for monitoring the effectiveness of the adaptation interventions in flood affected areas
∎ Prepare the online M&E mechanism compatible with the PKSF M&E system to monitor the activities in each of the targeted districts with common indicators.
∎ Ensure that the online M &E system is effective and can provide real-time data on on-going activities
∎ Conduct Result Based Monitoring (RBM) for the project.
∎ Prepare the ToRs and supervise the activities of the Third Party Outcome Monitoring and Third Party Impact Monitoring farm(s)
∎ Prepare the activity reports, progress reports, and ensure the quality of the outcome monitoring and impact monitoring reports
∎ Provide capacity building support to PMU staffs and selectively to IEs to conduct monitoring and reporting in line with Environmental and Social Management Framework (ESMF)
∎ Organize training for monitoring officers at IEs level
∎ Prepare quarterly, half-yearly and annual report based on reports from IEs
∎ Propose project review or modification based on the lessons learnt
∎ Provide status report as and when necessary
∎ Undertake specific investigation related to major deviation of the actual situation of the project of partner with the planned situation
∎ Maintain a database of lessons learnt and share with other organizations
∎ Gather information about similar projects from home and abroad
∎ Gather information and knowledge on recent development (research, innovation) and share with appropriate authority of PKSF.
∎ Any other duties assigned by PKSF

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 03 years of professional experience in development organization/donor funded projects in the Climate Change arena
∎ Working experience in the field of monitoring and evaluation (M&E) will be an asset
∎ Experience in community-driven projects will be an added advantage
∎ Demonstrated proficiency in writing and speaking English and Bangla

Salary: Tk. 90000 (Monthly)
