Job Context:
∎ United Nations Development Programme in Bangladesh announces a vacancy announcement for the position of Programme Associate (SB-3 level), Disaster Response and Recovery Facility (DRRF) project under Service Contract modality.
∎ The duration of the Service Contract is one year initially, subject to renewal on an annual basis upon satisfactory performance and availability of funds.
∎ Vacancy Type: Service Contract (SC)
∎ Contract Duration: One year
∎ Only Bangladeshi nationals are eligible to apply

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 5 years' experience in Disaster Management field with experience in risk, vulnerability and damage assessment, using latest tools and technology for risk assessment;
∎ Experience on risk analysis using latest tools and technology;
∎ Knowledge of the Government of Bangladesh's development planning practices, allocation of business, and district and local governance structures;
∎ Past experience from positions requiring engagement with a wide range of stakeholders, including government officials, humanitarian and development UN agencies, and affected communities.
