∎ We are inviting applications from the experienced and proactive talents to join our meritocracy. The Program Specialist- Communication and Knowledge Management (PS-CKM) will be responsible to lead and guide the advocacy, media, strategic communication wing to ensure timely and quality deliverables using digital platforms and internal documentation process. This position will work closely with program, research and MEAL team to gathering facts on the ground, supporting media coverage and liaising with partners to identify impact stories. S/he will be responsible for implementation of the organization`s visual aesthetic and branding marking guidelines across the internal and external audience.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Play an active role as Dhaka and field office team members to design and implement the activities
∎ Develop a communication and documentation strategy following the organization's mission, development agenda and program strategy
∎ Collaborate closely with all wings to collect, capture and document project activities in the form of periodical reports, case studies and audio-video-digital content
∎ Perform as the technical contact point for behavior change communication and support developing SBCC strategies, materials, training manuals, toolkit and other publications
∎ Develop and implement effective campaign strategies and plans that will enhance the reputation of organization
∎ Lead the development of all designs, content, and production of all knowledge materials and social media engagement including content development, promotion and analyzing performances of the social media posts
∎ Represent the information in an attractive and engaging format that can be shared with the public, media, stakeholders, partners, and patrons
∎ Maintain professional relationship with mainstreaming media (Newspaper, TV, Radio) and channels in digital domain to promote and cross-fertilize the organization's mission
∎ Provide capacity building to the team members and follow up to make contribution to quality reports and communication products
∎ Proactively come up with innovative communication ideas which can add value across all programs
∎ Work with MEAL team to collect field data, analyze data and prepare monthly, quarterly, half yearly and annual progress reports
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 7 years of development work experience including Livelihood/SME/MFI/Enterprize/Market/Entreprenurship/Agricultural Extension development projects with in supervisory position of minimum 2 years
∎ Proven track record with reputed national NGO/INGO/company
∎ Core Competencies:
∎ Clear understanding and knowledge of small enterprise development, micro finance, rural markets, trading relationships, rural service provision, and market value chain approaches to market development, sub-sector analysis, the role of the private sector, government and civil society/NGOs in creating a small enterprise service oriented market
∎ Familiarity with contemporary communication and digital platform concepts and tools
∎ Solid background to establish communication and knowledge management framework in the organization
∎ Excellent skills in community mobilization and understand team approach
∎ Experience of successfully positioning brand and campaign management
∎ Strong knowledge of content development and a strong network of PR and media contacts
∎ A high level of attention to detail including proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
∎ Prior experience working in the context of various donor-funded livelihood/SME/MF development projects
∎ Advanced level user of MS Office suite, Google apps etc., desktop publication/audio-video editing tools and English language proficiency
∎ Self-reliant, ability to work independently and effectively in a multi-talents environment and willing to work under pressure in remote areas
∎ Key Assets:
∎ Good analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to think creatively and encourage colleagues to take initiative.
∎ Undertake frequent field visits and door to door service (30%+)
∎ Respectful to human dignity
