∎ We are inviting applications from the experienced and proactive talents to join our meritocracy. The Enterprise Facilitator- Group (EFG) is the key contact point to identify, select and mobilize potential entrepreneurs to engage them effectively in business activity. She will also primarily responsible to group formation, savings and repayment collection. Only female and residents of Jashore/nearby Khulna area can apply for the position.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Play an active role as field office team member to design and implement the activities
∎ The position is responsible for smallholders mapping for business development in the project location
∎ Contribute to design and implement business plan on different trades for smallholders
∎ She will counsel and support smallholders through the process of motivation and coaching
∎ Connect smallholders with local service providers/traders/market by providing technical guidance and network
∎ She will provide insightful input to select size of the sub-grant and, responsible for savings and repayment collection regularly
∎ Responsible for entering the data into the relevant database, keeping record of savings and repayment
∎ She will participate in the market and business assessment/survey and other relevant research
∎ Build rapport and maintain good relationship with the project stakeholders and co-facilitate the business growth tracking
∎ Actively contribute to risk assessment, risk management and repayment plan to safeguarding the investment
∎ Undertake additional tasks subject to workload and skill sets such as photography, cross-project learning and trainings
∎ Prepare field progress report and other reports regularly, document the key learning & findings
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 3 years of development work experience including Livelihood/SME/MFI/Enterprize/Market/Entreprenurship/Agricultural Extension development projects
∎ Proven track record with reputed national NGO/INGO/company
∎ Core Competencies:
∎ Clear understanding and knowledge of small enterprise development, micro finance, rural markets, trading relationships, rural service provision, and market value chain approaches to market development, sub-sector analysis, the role of the private sector, government and civil society/NGOs in creating a small enterprise service oriented market
∎ Well-familiar with the socio-political issue set in the project areas and a good outlook on the community structure
∎ Excellent skills in community mobilization and understand team approach
∎ Ability to work with various people and flexibility to adapt to different work conditions
∎ Experience in profit analysis and business planning with marginalized group members
∎ Prior experience working in the context of various donor-funded livelihood/SME/MF development projects
∎ A good working knowledge on MS Office suite, Google apps etc., MIS and English language
∎ Self-reliant, ability to work independently and effectively in a multi-talents environment and willing to work under pressure in remote areas.
∎ Willing to drive/ride motor-cycle
∎ Key Assets:
∎ Good analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to think creatively and encourage colleagues to take initiative.
∎ Undertake frequent field visits and door to door service (80%+)
∎ Respectful to human dignity
