Educational Requirements:
∎ Relevant Degree in social science from any legally authorized university with at least 4-5 years' experience working in DRR, climate change humanitarian response with local or international organizations.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Working with members of the DEEPER consortium to develop capacity on gender and social inclusion issues to address disaster risk reduction and resilience of vulnerable community
∎ Provide support to the Advocacy coordinator to develop communication materials to facilitate policy dialogue on inclusive DRR, response and Resilience
∎ Design and implement capacity development initiatives in relation to inclusive DRR, response and resilience
∎ Organize and manage urban café events with stakeholders on inclusive DRR, Response and resilience
∎ Organize and facilitate communication strategy for launching & branding inclusive Apps
∎ Provide inputs to project work plan, monitor actions and draft quarterly and annual reports on gender and inclusion related activities
∎ Ensure the collection of desegregated data for project reporting;
∎ Act as gender and social inclusion focal point for the DEPPER project
Additional Requirements:
∎ Experience working with DRR, response and climate change projects
∎ Good understanding of human rights, equity, inclusion, gender and governance
∎ Experience working in consortium/coalition approach
∎ Solid understanding of Project Cycle Management
∎ Experiences of developing training and promotional materials
∎ Training and facilitation skills
∎ Excellent verbal and written fluency in English and Bangla
∎ Confident and clear communication skills, with an ability to transmit key messages in a variety of ways, appropriate to different audiences
∎ IT competency required: Advance
Salary: Tk. 118000 - 139000 (Monthly)
