• Qualification: Minimum Graduation/Bachelor degree/Diploma in Agriculture/Livestock or Nutritional Science.

• Age: At most 40 years (Negotiable based on experiences and related technical skills)

• Experience: At least five years’ practical working experience in relevant field and sector.

Bangla-German Sampreeti (BGS) a development organization implementing Integrated Development Programs in the different districts of Bangladesh with the financial support from different national & international donors. It invites application from the suitable & interested candidates for the following positions of its Livelihood Project (Three Years) in Tangail Sadar & Madhupur funded by Lichtbrücke e. V.

Working area: Madhupur & Tangail Sadar Upazila of Tangail District.

Job Responsibilities:

• Program Officer- Agriculture & Marketing will be responsible to ensure effective implementation of of the Agriculture & Marketing aspects of the Women and Farmers Associations of the project.

• Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• The incumbent will be responsible to provide agriculture and marketing related technical supports to the Associations and its members. S/he will act as technical officer Agriculture and Marketing related activities of the project. The major activities of the agriculture and marketing office will be as follows: `

• S/he will be responsible to organize and facilitate agriculture and marketing related off-farm training and workshop of the project.

• The program Officer will to coordinate all training activities including awareness, capacity and skill building, prepare issue based and appropriate training module and conduct trainings and documentations (specially with Agriculture and Livestock and other related resources).

• Provide capacity and skill building training to the Association members in related to production and marketing.

• Conduct and maintain close coordination with Govt. and non-Govt stakeholders and organizations to ensure agriculture and livestock supports to the beneficiaries.

• Participate in the development of different training module on agriculture and marketing.

• Market linkage and maintain linkage and networking with different stakeholders and networks;

• Provide necessary supports to the Project Coordinator in the project implementation.

• Work any other activities if the organization requires

• Others:

• Regular user of Computer, E-mail & Internet with skilled and confidentiality

• If any complex found that, then as early as possible communicate with senior management. Besides this maintain organization rules and regulation and encourage to other staffs.

• Accountable about all types of works on related responsible person.

• Moreover, carry out other project related duties and responsibilities as and when assigned by the BGS Authority.

• Salary and Benefits: Consolidated monthly salary Tk. 40,000/- (Forty Thousand) .
