Job Context:
∎ Access Bangladesh Foundation is a leading national NGO dedicated to promote equality for persons with disabilities in all spheres of life, through education, health care, appropriate training, employment, communication, and barrier free environment.
∎ Job Location - Savar and Dhamrai Upazila under Dhaka District. But need to field visit in the project location- Bandarban, Rangpur and Pabna
∎ Employment Status - Contractual (up to 30 November, 2022)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for implementation of the project as per approved project proposal
∎ Support to organize training program
∎ Maintain good relationship with partner organizations
∎ Support for conducting national level meetings/workshops/seminars/consultations as needed with relevant stakeholders
∎ Support to conduct Public Hearing, Community Score Card, Awareness Raising Sessions, SHG Meeting etc at local level
∎ Support to develop necessary promotional and communication materials;
∎ Support to prepare quarterly progress report, annual report, project completion report etc;
∎ Prepare monthly work plan and report
∎ Develop case study/success story of selected beneficiaries
∎ Visit field on regular basis
∎ Attend seminar, workshop and discussion meeting on behalf of the organization
∎ Monitor and evaluate partners organization project activities
∎ Maintain relationship with relevant government and non-government agencies
∎ Support to establish a monitoring system to ensure quality implementation of project;
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 35 years
∎ At least 3 year(s)working experience in the field level of Non-profit organizations
∎ Minimum 3 years post qualification experiences in the field of NGOs including 2 years in project management experience with any National organization;
∎ Candidates need to be highly motivated and committed to work with persons with disabilities;
∎ Strong and inspirable leadership and community mobilization capacity is essential
∎ Capacity on networking and collaboration with Govt. office, local government, employers, and local civil society;
∎ Sound knowledge on Advocacy and Rights for persons with disabilities;
∎ Experience to work with a diverse team comprises with Program officer is preferable;
∎ Good reporting and communication skills both oral and written in English and Bangla;
∎ Good leadership and managerial skills, planning and staff management;
∎ Good computer skills e.g. MS words, power point, excels etc;
∎ Strong communications and interpersonal skills to meet the diverse technical and managerial requirements of the program and to effectively coordinate with a wide range of stakeholders;
∎ Basic knowledge on Disability and development is preferable;
∎ Have skills on creative recommendations, organize work, set priorities, meet deadlines, and complete assignments with minimal supervision;
∎ Honesty and high level of integrity;
∎ Need to be highly motivated and committed to Access Bangladesh's vision, mission, and improve the lives of the most vulnerable and marginalized people.
Salary:
∎ Tk. 20000 - 25000 (Monthly)
∎ Salary will be determined based on skills and experiences
Compensation & Other Benefits:
