∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ Minimum 8 years experience in analytical and research work. Any exposure to the innovation ecosystem will be an added advantage;
∎ Minimum 6 research studies published in reputed journals or research/analytical reports prepared for clients in government, private sector bodies/firms, or development partners where the candidate was either an author or has been part of the core team;
∎ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
∎ Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
∎ Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines;
∎ Proficient in research methodologies and data analysis techniques;
∎ Extensive experience in producing high-quality business research papers/documents is essential (evidenced by a list or samples of produced research papers);
∎ Desirable experience in the design, monitoring and evaluation of development projects;
∎ Experience with [Specific software or tools relevant to research and innovation, e.g., statistical analysis software, project management tools];
∎ Experience in handling of web-based management systems and advanced programmes for statistical analysis of data.
∎ A track record of instigating innovation is an advantage.
∎ Applicants with Proficiency in English and experience in innovation and research-related projects will be given preference.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Lead and manage the research program of the innovation center.
∎ Develop research strategy, and priority research agenda in light of present and future issues important for national economic and business space.
∎ Manage the internal team in the research program.
∎ Establish and maintain relationships with important government, private, research, and development-related global and local organizations.
∎ Lead the center’s efforts to secure collaboration with development partners to secure research funding support/ collaboration.
∎ Help develop a pool of external researchers in light of the research agenda undertaken on a regular basis.
∎ Quality control research plans, research project methodologies/framework.
∎ Quality review of draft research documents.
∎ Lead on developing dissemination and communication for research program and reports.
∎ Manage and execute research projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget constraints.
∎ Analyze research data and present findings clearly and concisely to stakeholders.
∎ Stay current on industry trends and best practices in research and innovation.
∎ Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (e.g., engineering, marketing, sales) to bring innovative ideas to fruition.
∎ Prepare and maintain research documentation, reports, and presentations.
∎ May assist with intellectual property (IP) management activities.
∎ Report to the CEO, of FBCCI IRC regularly and as instructed.
