∎ • Eco-Social Development Organization (ESDO) started its journey in 1988 with a noble vision to stand in solidarity with the poor and marginalized. Being a peoples' centered organization, ESDO envisioned for a society which will be free from inequality and injustice, a society where no child will cry from hunger and no life will be ruined by poverty. Near about three decades of relentless efforts to make this happen, ESDO has embraced new grounds and opened up new horizons to help the disadvantaged and vulnerable people to bring meaningful and lasting changes in their lives. During this long span, ESDO has adapted with the changing situation and provided the most time-bound services especially for the poor and disadvantaged. A community focused and people centered approach has been adapted by ESDO while consideration was given to the national policy and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as its guiding principle. ESDO is one of the most dynamic organizations expanding its development interventions across 408 upazilas under 53 districts of Bangladesh covering over 12 million poor and vulnerable people.
∎ • Project Coordinator has the responsibility of providing support to the team for addressing the deprived youth for employability skills development and resilience. The position holder is accountable to provide technical expertise/guidance for project implementation, monitoring, capacity building of different stakeholders of Employability and digital skills capacity project. S/he is responsible for providing support to the project team for assessment, response analysis, design, coordination, implementation and monitoring and evaluation of the project. S/he will oversee the work of project team in terms of strengthening, referral to services and response under the project ‘"Improvement of Employability Skills and Resilience for Youth in Chattogram” supported by Save the Children International in Bangladesh and implemented by BITA. S/he will distribute time 60% in fieldwork and 40% in desk work and report directly to the organization management and SCI.

∎ Directly supervise M&E Officer, Officer- MHPSS, Employment Support Staff (business & formal job placement), Instructor- Computer Fundamentals and Graphic design (Freelancing, AI & video editing also part of it), Community Mobilizer, Driver and other staffs of the project.

∎ Job Responsibilities
∎ Program Management:
∎ • Prepare monthly/quarterly plan & budget.
∎ • Guided quality benchmark of program operation of Mobile Training Center (MTC) and Digital Hub.
∎ • Ensure administrative, logistic and finance procedures are implemented by the project team;
∎ • Organize weekly meetings with project team and ensure reporting on the exchanges.
∎ • Support to documentation of all digital capacity base training/workshop activities and prepared progress reports.
∎ • Supervisory and coordination visit.
∎ • Progress tracking, frequently sharing lesson learned effectively within the team.
∎ • Develop program team spirit and capability.
∎ Coordination and Communication:
∎ • Develop linkage and connectivity for referral services.
∎ • Coordination contact, meeting, information sharing and visit to support structures and organizations.
∎ • Disseminate experience and learning of participation in the national/ international level events.
∎ • Maintain and strengthen coordination within organization’s relevant departments and programs.
∎ • Attend different GO-NGO sponsored coordination meeting at City levels.
∎ • Maintain correspondence with organization, donor & support structures.
∎ Monitoring, Reporting and Documentation:
∎ • Ensure quality of process documentation.
∎ • Assist to data/ information collection, formulation, analysis and share to relevant stakeholders & organization.
∎ • Extend supervisory support to quality M&E implementation
∎ • Program/ field visit and provide feedback.
∎ Staff Management:
∎ • Assist to develop organizational staff capacity development plan.
∎ • Orient the team member’s on organization and project/program conceptual framework.
∎ • Assess capacity/performance and provide feedback for improvements to project staff.
∎ Financial and Administrative Management:
∎ • Disseminate the policies and compliances of donor and organization.
∎ • Support financial planning and reporting.
∎ • Support accounts and admin section in financial and logistics management.
∎ • Ensure to follow administrative and financial rules and regulations at minimum standards
∎ Instruments Development & Capacity Building:
∎ • Coordinate project specific different assessment, study, review
∎ • Facilitate review team for producing methodology, plan and quality reporting
∎ • Coordinate and develop training materials, manual and module
∎ • Coordinate and facilitate publications
∎ • Good practice and learning identification and documentation.
