∎ Bachelor from business background / B.Sc. Engineering from a reputed university
∎ MBA candidates will get extra preference
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Manufacturing (Light Engineering & Heavy Industry), Plastic/ Polymer Industry
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Define the product strategy and roadmap
∎ Deliver MRDs and PRDs with prioritized features and corresponding justification
∎ Develop business relationship with suppliers/vendors and customers
∎ Work to understand customers' needs and how to meet them
∎ Ensure the availability of both the raw materials and finished goods
∎ Supervise the level of inventory, EOQ etc. to minimize the inventory holding cost
∎ Follow up the movement of inventory and arrange to liquidate it, if any of them are immovable.
∎ Design strategies to minimize the cost or time required to move goods
∎ Responsible for actual inventory counts; must be knowledgeable about inventory items to be counted, the counting procedures used, and location of all inventories
∎ Work with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities
∎ Be an expert with respect to the competition.
∎ Develop the core positioning and messaging for the product
∎ Perform product demos to salespersons
∎ Set pricing to meet revenue and profitability goals
∎ Deliver a monthly revenue forecast
∎ Develop sales tools and collateral
∎ Propose an overall budget to ensure success
∎ Brief and train the sales force at sales meetings
∎ Present performance data to management
∎ Act as a leader within the company
∎ Perform any other relevant tasks assigned by the supervisor/ Management
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 45 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum of 10 years of working experience as a Product Manager or Product Marketing Manager or in Production or in Costing
∎ Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products
∎ Minimum 10 years of experience in a job in the polymer market
∎ Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Bangla and English
∎ Excellent teamwork skills
∎ Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
∎ Must be able to travel 20% of the time
∎ Good communication skills
∎ Sound negotiation skills
∎ Very good at MS Office
∎ Self-motivated, flexible and energetic
∎ Ability to manage pressure and meet the deadline
