Experience:
This position will be responsible to support the design team in turning ideas into samples. They will manage development from sketch to sample approval & will ensure the product is cost-effective, technically sound, and meets buyer expectations.
To turn sketches into workable garment designs.
To prepare tech packs with accurate measurements and construction details.
To work with the sampling team on proto and fit sample development.
To attend fit sessions and provide clear, actionable feedback.
To ensure all samples are submitted on time.
To assist in selecting suitable woven fabrics and trims.
To coordinate closely with the fabric and trim sourcing teams.
To follow up on fabric and trim deliveries for sample development.
To work with the costing team to meet target prices.
To suggest cost-effective design or construction changes if needed.
To support regular communication with buyers and design teams.
To share updates, approvals, and revisions accurately.
To ensure all buyer feedback is well understood and implemented.
To maintain up-to-date records of tech packs and sample status.
To update development trackers regularly for all assigned styles.
