Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Prepare Audit Plan in consultation with Immediate Supervisor and conduct regular periodic internal Audit to DFED Micro-finance Branches/Projects aligned with the plan.
∎ Check Fixed Asset Management, Procurement, Expenses, Income, Bank Reconciliation and Other Controls Process.
∎ Check and verify all kinds of bill voucher transaction to ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions as per compliance of Micro-finance program and existing regulatory practices.
∎ To check cash/ bank/ journal voucher and different types of financial statements.
∎ Having capacity to identify existing and potential risk of Micro-finance program and conduct risk based audit as necessary.
∎ Completing audit field work according to established working schedule.
∎ Execute detailed audit procedures including review of transaction documents records policies and process.
∎ Discuss with authorities about the irregularities evident in audit findings and recommend for corrective measures to Immediate Supervisor.
∎ Sharing factual findings with evidence and recommendationto concerned management and prepare audit report with analytical review.
∎ Produce the draft audit report with evidences and follow up the management’s responses, and then submit to Immediate Supervisor.
∎ Assist the Immediate Supervisor to perform all sorts of audits, pre-audits and other activities.
∎ Capable to prepare and analysis of audit data through computer aided audit tools.
∎ Following of the ethical conduct like integrity, confidentiality,trust building and credibility.
∎ Skills on Probing/questioning, openness/consistency and capacity building etc.
∎ Learn DFED Microfinance’s new policies and procedures, law and regulations.
∎ Any other job assigned by the Management from time to time.

∎ DAM Foundation for Economic Development (DFED) (an institution of Dhaka Ahsania Mission, MRA license-00109-02243-00747) is working to enhance the socio-economic condition of poor people for creating their employment opportunities, raising income and increasing their asset and financial resources. DFED is currently looking for competent and experienced Officers for Internal Audit Department. The purpose of the job is to ensure mitigating the risk of the organization at minimum level and ensuring the internal control of the organization work activities effectivelyand efficiently. The personnel are required to successfully carry out the Audit related functions. This position requires knowledge of internal auditing; audit tools techniques, checklist, methodologies, monitoring skills and serving attitudes to work under Audit Department.

∎ Grade-8, Gross Salary including Provident Fund, Gratuity Fund, Other Fund, Mobile Bill and Insurance Tk. 43,685/- per month.

∎ Daily lunch allowance 200/- taka.
