Responsibilities & Context:
- Coordinate pre-production activities including sample development, fabric and trim sourcing, and proto/sample approvals.
- Work closely with design, merchandising, and production teams to ensure timely execution of pre-production tasks.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate pricing and delivery terms for fabrics, trims, and other materials.
- Oversee the development of tech packs and ensure accuracy and completeness of information.
- Collaborate with pattern makers, sample makers, and other relevant stakeholders to resolve technical issues and ensure product quality.
- Monitor and track the progress of pre-production activities, identifying and addressing any potential delays or issues.
- Establish and maintain documentation and records related to pre-production processes and materials.
- Implement and maintain best practices and standard operating procedures for pre-production workflows.
- Conduct regular meetings with cross-functional teams to review progress, address challenges, and ensure alignment with production timelines.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and regulations related to pre-production processes, and recommend improvements or optimizations as needed.
