Additional Requirements:
- 5 to 10 years of practical experience in petroleum refinery operations, either in Bangladesh or abroad, with a focus on managing petroleum or chemical plants.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of petrochemical processes and equipment.
- Familiarity with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and best practices.
- Excellent problem -solving and decision making skills.
- Proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
Responsibilities & Context:
Operational Leadership
- Direct and manage all plant operations, including production, maintenance, quality control, and supply chain coordination.
- Ensure compliance with environment, health and safety regulations.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to improve productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and manage plant personnel, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Identify training needs and create development programs for staff growth.
Safety and Compliance
- Ensure that all operations meet company and regulatory safety standards.
- Implement best practices for plant safety and risk management.
Budgeting and Planning
- Prepare and manage plant budgets, production schedules, performance reports.
- Drive plant projects, expansions, and improvements.
Process Optimization and Innovation
- Oversee the evaluation and optimization of production processes.
- Stay updated with advancements in Petro chemical technologies and integrate new innovations where applicable.
