∎ Master of Science (MSc) in Plant Breeding, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Genetics

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): agricultrue research, Aquaculture, Development Research, Plant Breeding
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Development of the plant breeding strategy and Germ plasma management of the vegetable crops to build a composite inbreed and hybrid varieties.
∎ Designing and implementing the breeding program like crossing plans, selection, and varietal evaluation with field trials to enhance crops' productivity and improvement.
∎ Data collection with plant characters and analysis using biometrical tools for Germ plasma evaluation and varietal performance test.
∎ Improve and implement new plant breeding and seed production technologies.
∎ Close monitoring of the seed production fields with technical supports and training to the growing partners.
∎ Cost estimation for a successful field trial of a crop in R&D.
∎ Leading local collaborations with private and public organizations.
∎ Maintain close interaction with internal customers, including marketing, sales, technologists, as well as external customers like seed dealers and growers.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Age 30 to 50 years.
∎ At least 3 years’ experience in Research & Development work.

Salary: Tk. 25000 - 30000 (Monthly)
