Experience: A minimum of 3 years of professional hands-on experience in PHP web development.

Backend Expertise: Excellent command over PHP and deep expertise in the CodeIgniter framework (routing, active record/query builder, sessions, and security practices).

Database Mastery: Deep expertise in MS SQL Server. You must be highly proficient in writing complex SQL queries, database normalization, index management, and executing advanced stored procedures.

Frontend Skills: Strong proficiency in Bootstrap (v4/v5) for creating responsive, cross-browser-compatible layouts.

Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to debug complex issues and translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Preferred (Nice-to-Have) Skills

Experience upgrading legacy CodeIgniter applications to newer versions.

Experience with Linux server environments and deployment pipelines.

Familiarity with Python or Selenium for automated testing and data scraping.

Understanding of software security best practices and data protection protocols.

• Application Development: Design, code, test, and deploy robust web applications using core PHP and the CodeIgniter framework, adhering to strict MVC architectural patterns.
• Database Architecture & Optimization: Design relational database schemas, write complex queries, and develop optimized stored procedures, triggers, and views in MS SQL Server.
• Frontend Integration: Transform UI/UX wireframes into responsive, mobile-first web pages using Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/jQuery.
• System Automation: Identify operational bottlenecks and develop automated scripts and background processes to eliminate redundant manual workflows.
• Performance Tuning: Monitor application performance, troubleshoot bottlenecks, and perform routine database and session maintenance to ensure high availability.
• Code Quality & Collaboration: Participate in code reviews, build reusable CodeIgniter libraries and helpers, maintain version control hygiene (Git), and document technical specifications.
