Experience:

• 3 to 7 years

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Civil Engineering

Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institute, or HSC/equivalent with a certified AutoCAD training course.

BSc in Civil Engineering will be given preference

• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Consulting Firms, Engineering Firms, Group of Companies

• Age At least 22 years

• Minimum 3 (three) years of working experience as an AutoCAD Operator/Draftsman, preferably in road, highway, bridge, or building construction projects.

• Experience in donor-funded projects will be an added advantage.

• Strong command of AutoCAD (2D); knowledge of Civil 3D will be an advantage.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, survey data, and technical specifications.

• Working knowledge of MS Office (Word and Excel).Good accuracy, attention to detail, and neatness in drawing.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Basic English communication skills.

• Prepare, edit, and update 2D/3D drawings using AutoCAD as per the instructions of engineers.

• Develop road, bridge, drainage, and structural drawings, including plans, longitudinal sections, cross-sections, and construction details.

• Prepare shop drawings and as-built drawings based on site data and survey information.

• Convert hand sketches, markups, and survey data into accurate, standard-format drawings.

• Assist engineers and surveyors in quantity calculation and measurement by preparing cross-section and area drawings.

• Maintain a proper filing and version control system for all drawings, both soft and hard copies.

• Print and plot drawings in required scales and sheet sizes, and submit them to the client, consultant, and project team.

• Incorporate revisions and comments from the client, the consultant, and the engineers in a timely manner.

• Ensure that all drawings follow company, client, and project drawing standards.

• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
