Responsibilities & Context:
Collect blood and other clinical samples from patients safely and professionally.
Properly identify, label, handle, and transport collected samples.
Follow standard procedures for venipuncture and sample collection.
Maintain proper hygiene, infection prevention, and patient safety protocols.
Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of collected samples.
Handle difficult or special cases with patience and professionalism.
Maintain cleanliness and readiness of the sample collection area.
Coordinate with laboratory personnel regarding sample requirements and rejection criteria.
Perform other duties assigned by the Laboratory In-Charge.
