Responsibilities & Context:
Job Responsibilities
Perform routine laboratory tests accurately and efficiently.
Collect, receive, label, process, and preserve patient specimens according to SOPs.
Perform tests in Hematology, Biochemistry, Clinical Pathology, Microbiology and Serology as assigned.
Operate and maintain laboratory analyzers and other equipment.
Ensure proper quality control and accuracy of test results.
Maintain laboratory records, registers, and reports properly.
Follow all laboratory safety, infection-control, and biosafety procedures.
Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
Report critical or abnormal results to the appropriate authority promptly.
Perform any other laboratory-related duties assigned by the supervisor.
