Education:
  • Bachelor's/Diploma in Pharmacy or HSC/ SSC (Must have completed a PCB-approved C-Grade Pharmacy Training Course)

Additional Requirements:
  • Age 26 to 35 years
  • Sound knowledge of medicines dosage forms and basic pharmacology.

  • Ability to read and understand medical prescriptions accurately.

  • Strong communication and customer service skills.

  • Basic computer literacy (POS system, MS Excel, inventory software).

  • Good numerical ability for billing cash handling and stock reconciliation.

  • Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in dispensing and record keeping.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and ethical standards.

  • Time management and organizational skills.

  • Teamwork and coordination with pharmacists doctors and suppliers.

  • Willingness to work in shifts and under pressure when required.



Responsibilities & Context:
  • Dispense prescribed medicines to patients and customers accurately according to prescriptions.

  • Assist customers in selecting over-the-counter medicines under pharmacist supervision.

  • Provide accurate information on medication usage, dosage, storage, and possible side effects as directed by the pharmacist.

  • Maintain proper stock records, including daily in–out entries of medicines.

  • Monitor medicine expiry dates and ensure FEFO (First Expiry, First Out) compliance.

  • Organize and maintain medicine shelves for easy identification and accessibility.

  • Handle billing, cash transactions, and receipt generation using POS or manual systems.

  • Coordinate with suppliers for medicine procurement and timely replenishment as instructed.

  • Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards within the pharmacy premises.

  • Assist in periodic inventory audits and physical stock counts.

  • Identify and report stock shortages, damages, or discrepancies to the pharmacist or manager.

  • Maintain pharmacy records, including stock registers, challans, and invoices, with accuracy and diligence.

  • Ensure proper storage conditions for temperature-sensitive and controlled medicines.

  • Maintain a professional and courteous approach to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.

  • Follow all pharmacy regulations, company policies, and ethical standards in daily operations.
