Experience:
Minimum Diploma in Pharmacy, B- Category Pharmacist/ C-Category Pharmacist.
Should have license from Bangladesh Pharmacy Council.
Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) or Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) from a recognized institution.
Registered with the Bangladesh Pharmacy Council (where applicable).
Basic training on pharmaceutical products and dispensing practices will be an advantage.
Sound knowledge of medicines dosage forms and basic pharmacology.
Ability to read and understand medical prescriptions accurately.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Basic computer literacy (POS system, MS Excel, inventory software).
Good numerical ability for billing cash handling and stock reconciliation.
Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in dispensing and record keeping.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and ethical standards.
Time management and organizational skills.
Teamwork and coordination with pharmacists doctors and suppliers.
Willingness to work in shifts and under pressure when required.
Dispense prescribed medicines accurately to patients and customers as per prescription.
Assist customers with over-the-counter medicine selection under pharmacist supervision.
Provide correct information on medication usage dosage storage and possible side effects as guided by the pharmacist.
Maintain proper stock records including daily in–out entries of medicines.
Monitor medicine expiry dates and ensure FEFO (First Expiry, First Out) compliance.
Organize and manage medicine shelves for easy identification and accessibility.
Handle billing, cash transactions and receipt generation through POS or manual systems.
Coordinate with suppliers for medicine procurement and timely replenishment as instructed.
Ensure cleanliness hygiene and safety standards within the pharmacy premises.
Assist in periodic inventory audits and physical stock counts.
Identify and report stock shortages damages or discrepancies to the pharmacist or manager.
Maintain all pharmacy records diligently including Stock Registers Challans and invoices.
Ensure proper storage conditions for temperature-sensitive and controlled medicines.
Maintain professional conduct and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction at all times.
Comply with pharmacy regulations company policies and ethical standards.
