Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Responsible for:
∎ Dispense Prescriptions.
∎ Organize and manage the medicine store including the date of expiry of the medicine
∎ Communicate With Prescribers.
∎ Ensure Patients' Safety.
∎ Ensure patient’s understanding of medical prescriptions
∎ Work With Patients on General Health
∎ Educate Health Provider Colleagues
∎ Stock Management
∎ Maintain diligently all records including Stock Register & Challans
∎ Activities:
∎ Quality of medicines provided to patients
∎ Ensuring that the provider of medicines is within the law
∎ Ensuring that the medicines prescribed to patients are suitable
∎ Advising patients about medicines, including how to take them, what reactions may occur, and answering patients' questions.
∎ Ensure stock management and proper record-keeping
∎ Ensure medicine shelf life
∎ Skill and Competencies
∎ Educational Qualification
∎ Diploma in Pharmacy from Govt. approved Institution.
∎ Should have a license from the Bangladesh Pharmacy Council.
∎ Analytical skills
∎ Ability to think critically.
∎ Strong numerical skills.
∎ Attention to detail.
∎ Problem-solving.
∎ Observation skills.
∎ Communication and social skills.
