Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Dispense right medicines to patient as per guideline.
∎ Keeping patient treatment record.
∎ Counseling.
∎ Stock management.
∎ Reporting.
∎ Carry out Behavioral Change Communication.
∎ Dispense right medicines in right quantity and quality to the treated patients as prescribed by the service providers in Floating Hospital·
∎ Keeping patients’ treatment record.
∎ Counselling and giving basic information about the medicines to the outdoor patients.
∎ Roster duty during SHC in post-operative ward.
∎ Maintain pharmacy stock.
∎ Monitor expiry date of medicine and ensure no expiry medicines are dispensed.
∎ Prepare near expiry and expiry report as monthly basis.
∎ Prepare monthly/quarterly purchase requisition and ensure product inhouse before stock out.
∎ Maintain cleanliness of pharmacy and pharmacy store, organise medicines in the shelf according to LIFO/FEFO.
∎ Reporting daily check and balance to MO.
∎ Maintain departmental quality checklist including temperature monitoring checklist.
∎ Patient counselling during secondary health camp.
∎ Active participation in BCC, Counselling & Health education.
∎ Periodic checking for short-dated medicines and provide report.
∎ Conduct periodic stock audit for pharmacy specially fast-moving and slow- moving items.
∎ Any work assigned by supervisor/line manager.
∎ Adhering safeguarding policy and organization’s code of conduct.
∎ Take part in local procurement committee and mess committee.
∎ Bachelor degree in Pharmacy or Diploma in Pharmacy.
∎ Should have valid registration (A or B category) from Bangladesh Pharmacy Council.
∎ 2- 3 years of relevant experience.
∎ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
∎ High commitment & motivation to work in remote places specially in riverine and hard to reach areas.
∎ Should have knowledge of operating MS Office application with typing speed at least 25wpm.
