∎ Minimum SSC/HSC/Diploma from a reputed Institution.

∎ 3 to 6 year(s)

Hotel, Party/ Community Center, Restaurant, Resort
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Spray or release chemical solutions or toxic gases and set traps to kill pests and vermin, such as mice, termites, and roaches, that infest buildings and surrounding areas.
∎ Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.
∎ Using mathematics to solve problems.
∎ The ability to arrange things or actions in a certain order or pattern according to a specific rule or set of rules (e.g., patterns of numbers, letters, words, pictures, mathematical operations).
∎ Knowledge of the chemical composition, structure, and properties of substances and of the chemical processes and transformations that they undergo. This includes uses of chemicals and their interactions, danger signs, production techniques, and disposal methods.
∎ Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
∎ Inspect buildings and the surrounding environment for signs of pest infestation or pests
∎ Determine the type of treatment needed to eliminate the pests
∎ Take the required measurement of the area that needs treatment
∎ Estimate the cost of services rendered to clients or customers
∎ Use different pest control methods such as setting of traps or baits to remove or kill pests
∎ Apply pesticide safely in buildings or structures and the surrounding environment
∎ Design and carry out a pest management plan
∎ Drive trucks equipped with power spraying equipment
∎ Create barriers to prevent pests from entering a building and create effective pest control measures to prevent pest infestation.
∎ Carry out any other duties as required by management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Overall confidence to handle clients.
∎ Strong ability to keep good records of hours worked and chemicals used.
∎ Must have relevant training and/or experience in a similar role.
∎ Must possess a team spirit and be able to work well in a team environment.
∎ Must be able to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues, and possess good interpersonal skills.
∎ Must have good time and process management skills.
∎ Must be trustworthy as duties are mostly discharged without the physical presence of the client.
∎ Must have good organizational skills.
∎ Must be very knowledgeable about a wide variety of pests, and be up-to-date with current industrial practice.
∎ Able to work morning, evening, weekend, holiday, and overnight shifts.
Salary: Negotiable
