Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Download inward cheques from other banks in Bangladesh Bank clearing through BACH module.
∎ Scrutinize the cheque leaves image and ensure all the conditions needed to honor a cheque.
∎ Ensure maker and checker postings of respective branches and confirm day end clearance of all cheques.
∎ Keep record of confirmation mails from branches about any sort of discrepancies.
∎ Ensure branch consent about return cheques. Outward clearing:
∎ Appropriation of high value and regular value clearing house honor and return through BACH module.
∎ Inform the branch regarding any circular and stop payment related issue.
∎ Posting/Authorization of Daily settlement vouchers for clearing adjustment GL account. §  Daily reconciliation of clearing adjustment account:
∎ Enlisted in Bangladesh Bank for settlement of all dispute issues regarding BACH operation.
∎ Net position settlement of HV & RV clearing at the end of the day.
∎ Prepare vouchers of daily settlement. Communication and reconciliation with other banks:
∎ Communicate with other bank regarding the dispute issues if arise and do the needful arrangement to settle the issue.
∎ Record keeping of settlement issues with other banks.Monitoring and settlement of Bangladesh Bank stop payments:
∎ Collection of Bangladesh Bank Account statement.
∎ Authentication of stop payments.
∎ Communication with branch and reconcile BB account.
∎ Inward Clearing:
