Responsibilities & Context:

•        In Coordination with the nursing team supervisor plan, facilitate and organize the patient support activities in the referral hospitals.

•        Ensure that the prescribed standards, guidelines and instructions to be used by the patient support teams are systematically followed and applied (counselling, patient information, adherence support, community activities and awareness)

•        Gather relevant data and compile activity reports

•        Ensure that there is a proper communication flow among the stakeholders

•        Perform hands on tasks as part of the team and gap fills, if necessary.

•        Management of dead body at referral hospitals in coordination with hospital morgue, emergency room, police stations and PSI at KTP hospital.

•        Counselling of all new patients and their attendants at the referral hospitals with orientation and explanation of the services they are receiving.

•        Within their competences keeping contact with all patients at referral hospitals, providing information and explanation regarding their health conditions, the treatments and the importance of following them correctly, and basic hygiene and nutrition measures, in order to enhance a preventive culture among the population.

•        Management of Blood Transfusion including donor collection, blood screening and confirmatory testing, post-donation counselling in collaboration with blood bank of referral hospitals and referral nurses.

•        Supporting referral nurses in carrying out investigations of the admitted patients and pursuing approval from coordination

•        Bill review of the Implant, submitted by supplier.

•        Arrangement of external facility referral for any procedure.

•        Support referral nurses in receiving and discharging patients, participate in regular morning follow-up and communicate with the doctors for the patient’s plan of management.

•        Referral part 2 data compilation and daily online Excel Referral database update.

•        Gap filling for referral nurse or transfer nurse even for night shift and carry out any task delegated by supervisor.

•        Monitoring the rational use of medicines and medical equipment, in order to ensure efficient health care treatments and to avoid service disruption.

Other tasks assigned by the supervisor.

• Permanent Contract under Coordination Office Cox`s Bazar. Salary according to level Seven (7) of the internal MSF salary grid (BDT 78000). Salary is not negotiable. Income tax deduction from salary based on current income tax rule. 2 annual leave days per month worked. Medical insurance for employee and direct dependents based on Health Care Policy- Locally Recruited Staff.

• There is no provisions for relocation. 2 Festival Bonuses after completion of one year of uninterrupted continuous service.
