∎ Job Summary:
∎ Prottyashi, A social development organization has been responding the Rohingya Crisis in Cox`s Bazar since the crisis started and currently is going to implement a project in the Rohingya community of Cox`s Bazar with the funding of USAID and in partnership with IRC. Prottyashi invites applications for the vacant position titled- Outreach Officer for the "Delivery of sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) focused and gender-transformative life skills education programmes for Adolescents and Youth from the Rohingya refugee camps and immediate and surrounding host communities" Project.
∎ Reporting:
∎ Outreach Officer will report to Project Coordinator. S/He has to maintain functional relationship with his/her peers, project teams and organization`s other priority teams. S/He must be able to communicate with other teams and units both program and operational of the organization.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Work with the volunteers to conduct community outreach activities to increase awareness among both men and women on reproductive health issues including prevention of GBV and SGBV, Reproductive health, Sexual and menstrual health.
∎ Identification of beneficiary groups for conducting sensitization activities (e.g. staging theatre, day observation) on GBV prevention and SRH.
∎ Provide training to the volunteers on community outreach regarding implementation of community based awareness raising interventions on SRH, GBV and SGBV.
∎ Organize popular theatre at the community level through gathering mass people and ensure key messages dissemination among the audiences.
∎ Maintaining an effective communication channel with both the volunteers and the community key person for ensuring the maximum coverage of the community people in the mass awareness interventions.
∎ Develop work plans related to key community interventions in coordination with volunteers.
∎ Follow up and guide volunteers on conducting community outreach activities with community members in coordination with the beneficiaries of target group
∎ Assist in finding solutions to challenges identified by the volunteers in case of conducting community based activities.
∎ Support dissemination of information on existing prevention services including working with other service providers to ensure the community is aware of the available services.
∎ Distributing informational IEC materials to community to describe what, where, and when program services are available for survivors and to aware the community people on SRH, GBV and SGBV.
∎ Follow up community responses regarding the community based activities to be conducted by the project
∎ Responsible for compiling timely monthly community mobilization activity reports and data compilation.
∎ Ensuring project activities are implemented to a high quality based upon related standard and objective of the project.
∎ Ensuring proper project documentation and compilation of training related data and information.
∎ Ensure risks are appropriately managed, including financial, safety and security, programmatic and reputational during the implementation of the thematic activities.
∎ Work closely and independently with other departments on all issues related to assigned projects.
∎ Provide need-based support in case of ensuring the proper sensitization process of the target group and increasing the effectiveness of the training.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Only females are allowed to apply
∎ At least 02 years of professional experience in national or international organizations in coordinating similar projects.
∎ Technical Skills:
∎ Skill of photography
∎ Must have professional writing and speaking capacity in English and Bangla, i.e. monitoring report, field visit report, event report, case study/story etc.
∎ Proficient with MS office suite
∎ Able to take decision in a timely manner, priorities and multi-task work seamlessly

Salary:
∎ Monthly Gross Salary will be 36,379 BDT contributory provident fund and regular traveling and communication bill.
