Job Responsibilities:
∎ 1. Operations Strategy
∎ • Oversee all daily operations of the business & participate in organizational and strategic planning.
∎ • Identify strengths/weaknesses/areas of improvement; ensure action plans are in place.
∎ • Collaborate with other senior management to formulate strategy.
∎ • Report on operational performance and suggest improvements.
∎ 2. IT Systems
∎ • Oversee implementation of IT systems
∎ • Oversee the implementation of technology solutions throughout the organization essential to manage business operations.
∎ 3. Operations & Implementation
∎ • Handle business operations and issues across all departments supporting business operations
∎ • Supply-chain: Manage the end-to-end supply chain process, collaborating with suppliers, manufacturers, and logistics partners to ensure timely procurement, production, and delivery of furniture items to retail locations.
∎ • Store Operations: Operations managers optimize store layouts, manage staff schedules, and coordinate daily operations to create a seamless shopping experience for customers. They ensure that all store activities align with company policies and standards.
∎ • Process Improvement: Identifying operational inefficiencies and implementing process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and streamline operations.
∎ • Team Management: Leading and supervising teams involved in warehousing, logistics, inventory control, and related functions, ensuring proper training and performance evaluations.
∎ • Budgeting and Cost Control: Developing and managing budgets for operations, controlling expenses, and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
∎ • New Product Launches: Collaborating with cross-functional teams to plan and execute successful launches of new furniture products, including coordinating production, logistics, and marketing efforts.
∎ • Customer Service: Monitoring and addressing customer feedback, resolving service-related issues, and ensuring a positive post-purchase experience.
∎ • Involve in root-cause analysis of issues and take corrective actions with the help of respective department HODs & team members.
∎ 4. New Store Setup: Project Planning & Coordination
∎ • Project planning & co-ordination involves overseeing the entire process of setting up new furniture retail stores. This includes construction coordination, fixture installation, and inventory setup.
∎ • Ensures timelines are met, budgets are adhered to, and all aspects align with the company's branding and operational standards.
∎ 5. SOP Implementation:
∎ • Ensure SOP implementation with the help of training at regular intervals.
∎ • Conduct process audits
∎ • Make action plan for implementation and monitoring as per process audit.
