Job Context:
∎ The purpose of this position is to plan, negotiate and source yarn as per requirement, develop sourcing channels (local & foreign) within the timeline.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ To plan & source yarn as per requirement, development sourcing channels (local & foreign)
∎ To prepare daily yarn purchase requisition after checking the stock status as per approved requisition from concerned dept.
∎ To prepare and update yarn status report to visualize the actual scenario as per plan.
∎ To allocate yarn as per the production coordinator and Merchandising requirements.
∎ To make a plan for the Yarn timeline (TOD)
∎ To work in advance for yarn & adjustment with the order
∎ To sort out and follow up on the short quantity of yarn stock to avoid any kind of unavoidable circumstance
∎ To negotiate of yarn plan with the supplier & forwarding it to the concerned dept.
∎ To create a Purchase Order (PO) in the SAP ERP system.
∎ To monitor LC processing status with the commercial team and prepare BEPZA/custom docs
∎ Bill processing and documentation.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 27 to 30 years
∎ Exposure to Yarn Planning and Procurement
∎ Relevant experience in a Spinning factory will be an added advantage
∎ Good knowledge of the competitive yarn market
∎ Have a strong & fostering collaboration with internal customers & Suppliers
∎ Excellent Communication Skills, Strong Presentation Skills, Well conversant in MS Office especially in ERP Systems
Salary: Negotiable
