Experience:

• At least 3 years

• Master’s degree in Accounting.

• Chartered Accountant (CA) - Certificate Course (CC) or Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB - partly qualify) certification.

• At least 3 years

• Minimum of 3 year of experience in tax and VAT-related roles.

• Knowledge of local and international tax laws and regulations.

• Proficiency in tax software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Summary: We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Officer - TAX & VAT to join our TAX & VAT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the organization’s tax and VAT obligations, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and assisting in tax planning and strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with local tax laws.

• Manage VAT submissions and ensure timely and accurate filing of VAT returns.

• Assist in the preparation and submission of quarterly and annual tax reports.

• Conduct thorough tax research and stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations.

• Assist in tax audits and liaise with tax authorities as necessary.

• Provide support in tax planning and strategy to optimize tax liabilities.

• Maintain accurate and organized tax records and documentation.

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address tax-related queries and issues.

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements with tax considerations.
