Responsibilities & Context:
The position is responsible for managing the sourcing, purchasing, and documentation of textile chemicals, dyes, and greige fabric to ensure smooth supply chain and production operations. It also includes coordination with internal departments and handling audit-compliant documentation for certifications and payments.
Maintain seamless supply chain management for all types of textile chemicals and dyes to support uninterrupted production.
Prepare comparative statements for sourcing and purchasing of textile chemicals and dyes.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers of greige fabric, dyes, and chemicals.
Coordinate and execute tasks related to Datatex system operations.
To maintain smooth production by loan borrowing and returning all kinds of textile Chemical and dyes as per required.
Monitor and follow up on greige fabric sourcing and knitting contracts to ensure timely availability.
Submit shipping and billing documents to the Finance Department via Audit, and follow up on vendor payments for yarn, dyes, chemicals, and greige fabric.
Issue and manage Transaction Certificates (TCs) for Textile Exchange and Textile Genesis in accordance with compliance requirements.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of purchasing and export data related to TCs for internal and external audits.
Communicate and coordinate effectively with stores and other concerned departments as necessary.
