Educational Requirements:
∎ BSC/Diploma in Honors/Masters in Horticulture from any reputed Institution.
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc)/Master of Science (MSc) in Agriculture/Agro technology.
∎ Master's degree in any discipline from any reputed university
Experience Requirements:
∎ 2 to 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Extensive knowledge in "hydroponic".
∎ Basic knowledge of what a green house is and how it manage internal environment.
∎ Plan, organize, coordinate and execute all Hydroponic/ Horticulture farm maintenance activities (both Scheduled and unscheduled).
∎ Overseeing the cultivation and maintenance of plants and crops in Hydroponic/ organic farm processes.
∎ Managing all types of weed/pest/disease issues.
∎ Ensuring compliance with international regulations and legislation, e.g. organic cultivation requirements
∎ Organizing horticultural research on Plants, vegetables, seeds etc.
∎ Analyzing horticultural yields, operational costs and financial returns
∎ Maintaining financial and administrative records
∎ Supervising and training staff
∎ Negotiating contracts with buyers and suppliers
∎ Liaising with colleagues, local DAE (Department of Agriculture Extension), Govt. and Private nursery, green house and horticulture center officials, customers, professional groups etc.
∎ Ensuring that deadlines and quality standards are met within set budgets
∎ Estimate the required material for implementation of new plant, modification or renovation.
∎ Maintain the connection with other internal departmental personnel for smooth running the farm.
∎ Proper communication with higher management to effectively solve major farm issues.
∎ Report writing (Weekly, Monthly and Yearly)
∎ Any other tasks to done by Management time to time.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 22 to 30 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Hydroponics, Horticulture, Green house & seeds Project
∎ In-depth knowledge in Plantation / Farming (Hydroponic/ Horticulture, Green House).
∎ Should have enough knowledge on Plantation / Farming (supervision) and related documentation.
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): agro based farm, Farm Management, Experience in Farm Machineries.
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM), Mushroom, Dragon Fruit, Maringa
∎ Need to have at least 3 years of experience on Horticulture or any other related sector
∎ Horticulture Farm experience preferred
∎ Ability for leadership, team work and decision making under pressure with good intercommunication skills
∎ Have to sign an employment of 2 years minimum after training. The first 6 months of the 2 years will be a probation period
∎ Aptitude to work under stressful condition.
