Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor degree in any discipline
∎ preferably in Social Science, Development Studies, Anthropology, etc.
∎ Good English writing, analytical and communication skills.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Programmatic Responsibilities
∎ Promote, facilitate and coordinate a participatory approach among all stakeholders for awareness raising in solid waste management, faecal sludge management and plastic waste management.
∎ Coordinate the social mobilization for community sensitization for plastic waste collection and delivery to pyrolysis plant, support in formation of waste workers cooperatives, sensitize wider level community and facilitate trainings to multilevel stakeholders.
∎ Facilitate trainings waste workers groups, other societal groups, etc.
∎ Conduct wider level social campaign for source segregation of municipal solid waste at the source.
∎ Coordinate the demand creation for city-wide faecal sludge management service delivered by the municipality.
∎ Day-to-day facilitation and progress monitoring of the activities related to social mobilisation carried out by multiple actors.
∎ S/he will assist Programe Manager and Project Manager to develop modality of community mobilization initiatives.
∎ Facilitate the capacity building process on FSM of the relevant stakeholders including youth and children through organising different sensitisation and capacity building programmes such as quiz competition, debate competition, etc.
∎ Coordinate with municipality and local administration to facilitate to stop illegal connections of faecal sludge line with storm line in the municipality.
∎ Support to organise exposure events, workshop, municipal sanitation planning and social mobilisation events for demand creation.
∎ Monitor closely third party driven social and behaviour change campaign such as street drama, miking, postering, etc.
∎ Working closely with the Programme Manager, Project Manager, Coordinator Technical and Implementation to ensure that the quality project social campaign, events, etc.
∎ Keeping records of all documentations and project implementation process.
∎ Any other tasks assigned by the senior management for ensuring smooth delivery of the projects.
∎ Administrative Responsibilities:
∎ S/he will support in organisational administrative works at the local level in coordination with country office people and culture department, finance department, and general support service department.
∎ S/he will be responsible for collecting certificates/approvals/acknowledgments from local level governmental departments.
∎ S/he will be for follow and maintain records for adherence with financial management by organisational policies at the local level.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 3 years of post-graduation work experience in the development sector (preferably in social mobilisation campaigning).
∎ Female candidates are encouraged to apply.
∎ Clarity in concept and excellent communication, facilitation, reporting and presentation skills.
∎ Good communication skills, capacity to work and mobilize communities and problem solving skills.
∎ Ability to work with people of various backgrounds, culture and religions.
∎ Some knowledge and understanding of gender and participation issues as a plus.
∎ Team player is essential.
∎ Ability to work independently and/or in a multi-cultural team and meeting deadlines.
∎ Good ability to work with a virtual cross-functional team.
∎ Willing and able to travel independently outside station.
Salary: Tk. 62543 (Monthly)
