Job Responsibilities:
∎ Oversee the financial operations of the software development company, including budgeting, financial planning, and financial reporting. Ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures.
∎ Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers. Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Monitor accounts payable and receivable. Conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance.
∎ Assist in the preparation of the annual budget. Monitor budgetary performance and provide analysis and recommendations to ensure efficient financial management. Forecast financial trends and advise on financial planning.
∎ Prepare regular financial reports for management and stakeholders, providing insights and analysis on financial performance, variances, and trends. Present financial information to the management team and assist in decision-making processes.
∎ Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and taxation requirements. Prepare and submit Vat & tax returns and other financial documentation as required by authorities.
∎ Coordinate and oversee procurement activities, including the selection of vendors and negotiation of contracts. Maintain vendor relationships and monitor procurement expenses.
∎ Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making. Evaluate the financial viability of potential projects or initiatives. Identify areas for cost savings or revenue generation.
∎ Monitor cash flow and ensure sufficient funds are available for day-to-day operations. Manage banking relationships and transactions.
∎ Supervise and mentor junior finance staff members. Provide guidance and support on financial matters.
