Job Context:
∎ SKS Foundation is a non-governmental organization (NGO) working in Bangladesh since 1987 with poor and marginalized population including char dwellers, ethnic minority, landless and marginal farmers, disaster and climate vulnerable households. It works with multidisciplinary approach with a mission to improve social, economic and environmental facts of life of the poor and marginalized population by reducing their exposure to climate and disaster risks and improving access to development opportunities and resources.

∎ SKS Foundation is committed to improve and expand the current level of use of computer software in managing its microfinance programme; and has been looking for three dynamic, committed and self-driven IT experts in the position of `IT Officer` to be based in Gaibandha.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Visit microfinance branches and field offices to supervise/guide their day-to-day work with computer software and provide solution to the reported problem(s).
∎ Support with data and evidence in decision making by senior management about software, data quality, reporting and hardware related issues.
∎ Help set up new computers and other electronic devices including installation of software at new branches and locations.
∎ Monitor hardware maintenance and internet services at Branch office and other establishments of microfinance operation in the field.
∎ Identify less efficient users of microfinance software and organize training for them to address their weaknesses.
∎ Identify policy violation, inconsistency between recorded data and software data, and data tempering by microfinance field staff in dealing with disbursement and collection.
∎ Inform and coordinate with software service providers about software performance related problem and new service requirements.
∎ Any other task related to data security, data management, data consolidation, further automation of microfinance operation and its development with IT support.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years

∎ Understanding of NGO culture and microfinance programme with good communication skills and capacity to achieve shared objectives.

∎ Personal integrity, flexible attitude, sense of transparency, proactive stance and respect for gender, safeguarding, and child rights.
Salary:
∎ Tk. 30000 (Monthly)
∎ After confirmation salary will be 33, 600 taka per month.
