Experience:
Masters degree in any discipline.
Having at least 5 years of relevant working experiences at development organization including 2 years in direct project implementation and supervisory position.
Proven ability to lead and manage union-based project operations (covering one or more unions).
Strong knowledge on Maternal and New-born Health (MNH) issues with hands-on experience in implementing MNH focused field interventions.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to prepare reports and case studies in both Bangla and English.
Proficient in computer applications, including word processing (MS Word and MS Excel), virtual communication platforms and internet-based tools.
Willing to ride a motorcycle and possess a valid driving license.
Willing to live/reside and work in char and riverine areas.
SKS Foundation in partnership with Save the Children is implementing the Project of Promotion of Maternal and Newborn Health (MAMOTA) Project in Gaibandha District. Following Vacant positions will be recruited for implementing the project's interventions: This position will be up to 31 December 2026.
Job Responsibilities
Plan and implement of field-level activities for the assigned union in line with approved project plan.
Ensure effective implementation of all project activities at field level in accordance with the approved work plan and allocated budget.
Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks and delivery of outputs as per the approved Detailed Implementation Plan (DIP) and budget.
Mobilize resources and strengthen collaboration with Local Government Institutions (LGIs) to enhance sustainability of project interventions.
Liaison and maintain effective coordination with the relevant stakeholders at union and upazila level.
Counseling to Community Influencers to ensure quality and effective implementation of project activities.
Monitor the performance and field activities of Influencers and provide regular supportive supervision to enhance efficiency, accountability and quality of services.
Provide overall technical and operational support to the Community Change Agent working with Mamota (CSBA, TBA, Village Doctor, Youth Leader, Community Leaders and Satisfied Mother) for sustainability of project interventions.
Support Midwives for ensuring timely submitting work plan, timesheet, activity report and bill vouchers to the respective person at project office.
Guide and support Community Influencers for execution of work plan, submission of timesheet, activity report and bill vouchers to the respective person at project office.
Ensure that all expenditure incurred in accordance with actual and budget limit.
Ensure activity and other progress reporting and send to the project operation unit timely.
Support and monitor if there any repair or renovation works at health facility and ensure timely completion with quality.
Maintain accurate, timely and complete financial activities as per forms and organizational procedure.
Ensure that the MAMOTA project activities are implemented in the target UHFWCs/ USCs in close collaboration with respective health and family planning departments in the union and Upazila level.
Maintain liaison with like-minded CBOs, CSOs and stakeholders and integrate the MNH activities in responsible union.
Arrange and participate in FWCMC meeting and any other meeting or event organize at UH&FWC.
Jointly arrange meeting (bi-weekly, monthly and quarterly) with union team (Midwife, Community Influencer, Aya and Nigth guard) and analyze the progress, identify the challenges and possible solution among the union project team.
Prepare and accommodate visit for internal and external visitors at health facility or field activities.
Assist and support in small study, survey and assessment etc. arrange by the project.
Coordinate with the Sr. Officer-MEAL to support data collection, monitoring and evaluation, reporting and documentation in line with project requirements.
Maintain professional discipline, behavior and standards at every activity organize at field level.
Ensure full compliance with the organization’s Child Safeguarding and Gender policies across all levels of project implementation.
Promote a safe, inclusive and respectful environment at working union for children, adolescents and marginalized mother in community mobilization.
Ensure that the Community Influencers, youth groups and project stakeholders are aware on Child Safeguarding and Gender sensitivity through existing project activities.
