Responsibilities & Context:
Diagnose and resolve technical issues.
Escalate ICT issues to the HoD of ICT where necessary.
Responsible for managing backups and tape rotation.Undertake small to medium-sized ICT projects as instructed by the HoD of ICT.
Provide desktop and Network support.Support and maintain MS Server/Desktops/Wi-Fi Network.
Setting up and configuring new laptops and desktops/Wi-Fi Devices.
Install authorized software on laptops and desktops.
Ensuring security and upgrades are applied and kept up to date on desktops and laptops.
Antivirus installation on all desktops and laptops.
Fault-finding to laptops and desktops/Wi-Fi Networks.
Reporting faults and maintaining logs on desktops, Networks, and laptops.
Completing internal user moves including phones.
Patching of network and phones.
Making Cat 5 e network cables was necessary.
Ensure all logs for equipment and users are maintained.
Ensuring all software purchased licensing is recorded and maintained.
Exchange server mailbox maintenance including archiving mailboxes.
Setting up new users and disabling expired accounts by HR requirements.
Providing support for MAC and PC and
Any other task is assigned by management
