∎ Diploma in Midwifery from an accredited academic institution recognized & registered by Bangladesh Nursing and Midwifery Council (BNMC)

Job Context:
∎ GRAUS is going to implement an anticipated six months project named `Integrated response to COVID-19 crisis through healthcare, WASH and protection programs`` with the support of Save the Children International in Lama and Alikadom Upazilas of Bandarban Hill District. GRAUS intends to hire a competent, experienced and qualified Nurse/Paramedic for this project. The positions confirmation is subjected to the donor approval and availability of funding.
∎ Base Office : Lama and Alikadom Upazilas
∎ Work Place : Lama and Alikadom Upazilas
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Support Upazila Health and Family Planning department in line with Upazila COVID response plan in terms of:
∎ Work in Upazilla health complex.
∎ Support doctors for the treatment of patient in outdoor and indoor.
∎ Support triage, screening and assessment of patients at UHC
∎ Deliver nursing care to patients based on established clinical practice standards
∎ Provide ensure delivery of patient care through implementation of prescribed medication and monitoring effects
∎ Delivery of hygiene promotion, health education and patient/care giver counselling
∎ Ensure adherence to infection prevention and control measures
∎ Check daily inventory of medicines & other equipment
∎ Give priority to emergency cases and to co-ordinate with the consultants/respective department for the same
∎ Ensure accurate recording of information in the clinic registers, and timely completion of reports with familiarity of KOBO reporting
∎ Any other tasks deemed necessary to achieve the project objectives according to the advice of the Medical officer.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 35 years
∎ Minimum 2 years' experiences of working in development organization related to Health program in CHTs will get preference.
∎ Adequately aware of government's health system at Upazila and below and aware of the scale and devastation of COVID-19 across the country
∎ Experience of working closely with government functionaries, , private and non-government organizations will get preference
∎ Ability to manage a complex and diverse workload
∎ Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and support as necessary
∎ Age will be relaxed for experienced candidates.
Salary: Tk. 50000 (Monthly)
