∎ Food for the Hungry in global partnership with Medical Teams International launched the Joint Rohingya response program funded by UNHCR, PRM and/or any other funding agencies added in future.

Job Responsibilities:

∎ Key Result #1: Direct nursing care
∎ Ensure nursing care of the patients in health facility 24/7;
∎ Initiate emergency treatment, stabilization of patients, ensuring adequate patient monitoring in all medical departments as per SOP and National Guidelines;
∎ Dressing of wounds, minor injuries, skin infections, and administration of drugs as prescribed by Doctors;
∎ Responsible for maintaining excellent infection control standards at the facility level;
∎ Support the activities of other nurses and doctors;
∎ Triage at the beginning of the clinic work along with Clinic Lead/Supervisor (visual assessment);
∎ Support pharmacy and dispensing medicines from dispensary;
∎ Observe and adhere to universal medical ethics.
∎ Key Result #2: Oversee nursing function in facility
∎ Assign nursing staffs to their respective duty zone;
∎ Process and arrange any referral (patient counselling and ambulance arrangement);
∎ Monitor and evaluate the work of all nursing staffs, providing support when necessary;
∎ Facilitate a weekly workshop for nurses;
∎ Maintain a high level of infection control standards in the facility;
∎ Provide audit support to Doctor, Clinic Lead.
∎ Key Result #3: Staff management and development
∎ Model leadership to all staff, coaching and mentoring key direct reports;
∎ Ensure proper orientation, training, development, and care of direct reports.

∎ Ability to cope with stress and working in the camp environment;
∎ Flexibility to perform other tasks and take initiative when required;
∎ Ability to travel to insecure countries or locations.
