Additional Requirements:
- Strong command of Bangla and English (both written and spoken)
- Excellent editing, writing, and proofreading skills
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Sound knowledge of current affairs, media law, and ethical journalism
Responsibilities & Context:
- Coordinate with newsroom staff, including reporters, sub-editors, and producers
- Review, edit, and approve news scripts for accuracy, clarity, and compliance with editorial policies
- Monitor breaking news and ensure timely and accurate coverage
- Maintain journalistic integrity and uphold ethical reporting standards
- Plan daily news coverage and assign stories
- Collaborate with production and digital teams for content distribution
- Ensure proper use of language, tone, and style in all news content
- Manage newsroom workflow and deadlines efficiently
