Education:
  • Bachelor`s degree in Film and Media, Mass Communication, Photography, or a related field.

  • Professional training or certification in Cinematography, Film, Photography, or Video Production will be an added advantage.

  • Strong knowledge of professional cameras, lenses, lighting, audio equipment, and video production techniques.

  • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar software.

  • Strong creative storytelling and visual communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple assignments, and meet deadlines.

  • Willingness to travel to field and project locations as required.

  • Good communication skills in Bangla and working knowledge of English.

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in cinematography, video production, photography, or media documentation.

  • Experience in NGO, development, documentary, or project-based video production will be preferred.

Job Context

AMAN is looking for a creative and skilled Cinematographer to support the organization`s communication, documentation, project visibility, and media production activities. The selected candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality visual content covering organizational programs, field activities, events, success stories, campaigns, and other project-related activities.

Job Responsibilities

  • Plan, shoot, and produce high-quality video content for organizational programs, projects, events, campaigns, and promotional activities.

  • Operate professional cameras, lenses, lighting, audio, and other video production equipment effectively.

  • Capture interviews, field activities, success stories, training sessions, meetings, and special events.

  • Work closely with Communication, Media, and Program teams to develop creative and impactful visual content.

  • Ensure proper framing, composition, lighting, sound quality, and overall visual standards during video production.

  • Perform basic video editing and coordinate with video editors for final production when required.

  • Produce documentaries, short films, promotional videos, social media content, awareness videos, and other visual materials.

  • Maintain, organize, and properly archive video footage, project files, and digital media assets.

  • Travel to project locations and field areas for video documentation as required.

  • Ensure that all visual content complies with organizational communication guidelines, branding requirements, safeguarding standards, and confidentiality policies.

  • Obtain appropriate consent and maintain confidentiality when capturing photos or videos of beneficiaries, participants, and community members, where applicable.
