Responsibilities & Context:

Identify and prioritize news stories suitable for Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube, TikTok, and other relevant platforms.

Transform news reports into engaging social-media content including posts, carousels, short-form videos, reels, infographics, and breaking-news updates.

Publish content quickly and accurately during breaking-news situations while maintaining editorial standards.

Write compelling headlines, captions, short-form copy, and other social-media content in Bangla and English.

Monitor social-media trends, audience behavior, engagement, reach, video views, watch time, follower growth, and overall content performance.

Develop platform-specific content strategies based on analytics and audience insights.

Manage content scheduling, publishing, monitoring, and reporting using Meta Business Suite and other relevant tools.

Professionally manage comments and messages, address audience concerns, identify misinformation, and respond to criticism appropriately.

Maintain UNB's standards of accuracy, impartiality, credibility, and journalistic ethics.

Work effectively under pressure during major national and international breaking-news events and outside regular office hours when required.

Collaborate with editorial and digital teams to maximize UNB's online reach and engagement.
