Responsibilities & Context:
- Network Design and Implementation: Design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN). Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, VPN, QoS).
- Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability. Troubleshoot network issues, provide technical support, and perform network maintenance. Conduct network fault investigations, hardware and software maintenance, and repairs.
- Security: Implement security measures to protect network infrastructure. Establish and enforce policies to ensure the security and integrity of the network.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, policies, and procedures. Generate reports on network performance, outages, and other metrics.
- Collaboration: Work with other network team members, software developers, and external vendors. Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior Engineer.
- Research and Development: Stay current with new technologies and industry trends. Propose and implement network improvements and optimizations.
