NESL now invites applications from competent candidates for the post of NESL HSE Specialist – Lifting & Rigging (L&R) for one of it’s Clients in Oil & Gas sector.

Conduct thorough crane inspections according to Company standard and ASME B30.5 on all cranes working in Operation and projects.

Oversee lifting and rigging activities within Client’s operation control.

Monitor Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) related issues in day-to-day field operations.

Conduct lifting and rigging inspection /certification surveys on all lifting machines and accessories.

Maintain data/records related to HSE performance on Lifting and Rigging Operations for Projects.

Develop written lift plans, review and maintain approval flows of lift planning of the projects. Take part in lift executions & ensure safety.

Conduct required checks, Verification and Validation audits on all lifting equipment and heavy equipment working for Projects as per “Heavy Equipment and Machinery Inspection Procedure”.

Develop L&R and heavy equipment in-house training modules as per relevant Standards & best practices.

Facilitate Lifting & Rigging related in-house training (initial & refresher) for Company and Contractor workforce.

Conduct Heavy Vehicle/Equipment related safety training for Company and Contractor workforce.

  Participate in Contractor KPI to share L&R and Heavy Equipment Safety performance & improvement opportunities.

Obtain and distribute industry information on Lifting & Rigging (L&R) and Heavy Equipment (HE) safety.

Conduct Lifting & Rigging related incident investigations.

Develop/review/implement L&R and HE specific guidelines to ensure Operational Excellence (OE).

Support HSE Standard Operating Procedures, OE Processes and Safe Work Practices development.

Assist in developing/reviewing Hazard Analysis for L&R and HE operations.

Dominant work schedule will be 14 days on/ 14 days off basis. Work Schedule may vary as per Company`s requirement. Yearly two annual allowance/bonus. Cell phone allowance. Group life Insurance coverage. Hospitalization Insurance coverage.
