Job Context:

∎ Duty Station: Dhaka 30% Field 70%
∎ Reporting to: Head of Food Security and Livelihood
∎ Grade and Salary Range: III B

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Monitoring:
∎
∎ Development of M&E Plans and Strategies for the Project
∎
∎ Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive and realistic monitoring and evaluation plans and strategies with appropriate data sources, collection and storing methods, analysis plans, quality controls and resource requirements.
∎ Continually assess methodologies and instruments for collection, documentation, analysis and reporting of data for weaknesses and potential improvements.
∎ Plan and ensure WBCs are gathering relevant information within set time frame.
∎ Analyzing Data and Producing Report
∎
∎ Perform Baseline, 6 monthly and yearly data analysis applying appropriate software.
∎ Produce Baseline, 6 monthly (output), annual (outcome) and other event report including case incidence, best practices and process documentation.
∎ Arrange finding/report sharing events within project and with relevant stakeholders as well.
∎ Facilitating Capacity Development of the Project in Monitoring and Evaluation
∎
∎ Ensure that implementing-WBC are following project M&E systems so that capacity increased through doing the thing
∎ Provide need based orientation/training on M&E system and data gathering to relevant project personnel
∎ Provide timely follow up and maintain contact during specified M&E events are in place.
∎ Partnership Management
∎
∎ Develop network with government administration, local government institutions, local actors, other stakeholder, media, CSOs and with others as appropriate.
∎ Initiate advocacy, lobbying on different issues related to Result-2 across three districts of CHT.
∎ Initiate advocacy, lobbying on different issues related to other two results within the district of duty.
∎ Liaise with Government, relevant Ministries, partner organizations, communities and other relevant stakeholders.
∎ Communication and Visibility
∎
∎ Support the increase of project visibility on local and regional level to different stakeholders, partners and beneficiaries, as well as to general audience.
∎ Pro-actively capture success stories / events or actions which may result from the intervention.
∎ Project Management
∎
∎ Lead the project team as well as act as influencer and mentor.
∎ Prepare quarterly and annual work plan and implement the same.
∎ Perform detailed project planning, resource scheduling, reporting, issue resolution, quality assurance and risk management.
∎ Communicate issues to the Head of Food Security and Livelihood in a timely manner, and coordinate intervention where necessary.
∎ Manage relationships with all parties and actors who may matter for the successful implementation of the project.
∎ Contract administration and asset management.
∎ General administration of the project.
∎ Budgeting, financial administration and asset management.
∎ Communication and visibility.
∎ Project closure and final report.
∎ Close coordination with other teams of United Purpose Bangladesh Country Programme.
∎ Participate in and contribute to other activities for a better coordination and enhanced impacts of the activities (joint events, training, workshops, etc.)

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 5 years' experience in the relevant field.
∎ Experience in INGO/NGO-essential
∎ Experience in development of IEC material, training management and guideline preferred.
