Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for monitoring the overall activities of the project by coordinating with project leader and other personnel.
∎ Develop simple monitoring tools for day to day monitoring in collaboration with Helvetas
∎ Provide support to review and updating of tools, techniques and methodologies for project activities including monitoring
∎ Establish process monitoring of each intervention to ensure implementation happen as per process envisaged and planned.
∎ Ensure and provide continuous support to other colleagues especially Upazila Coordinator for regular update of database on part of relevant partner
∎ Introduce periodic reporting system (mainly monthly and quarterly) for project's progress according to Annual Plan of Operation
∎ Visit field to triangulate and validate monitoring and other progress reports
∎ Work with Project Manager and other field staffs to ensure the collection of relevant and appropriate data needed for an effective monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning system which will be utilized in monitoring strengths, weakness and gaps in project implementation and for reporting on donor commitments.
∎ Provide information needed to respond during evaluation of the project by the donor agency or any other third party
∎ Ensure the cross cutting issues such as participation, gender, age, and disability are effectively addressed/ mainstreamed in all project activities as per the organizational policy
∎ Share learning and provide constructive comments to colleagues in order to ensure programmed quality.
∎ Any other task assigned by authority.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ At least 3-5 years of professional experience in national or international organizations in monitoring and evaluation of the project.
∎ Must have good writing and speaking capacity in English and Bangla, i.e. monitoring report, field visit report, event report, case study/story, press release, content writing, etc.
∎ Should have skills on SPSS, KoBo toolbox and data management softwares
∎ Timely decision making ability as well as multi-tasking capacity
Salary: Tk. 40173 (Monthly)
