Job Context:
∎ Eco-Social Development Organization (ESDO) started its journey in 1988 with a noble vision to stand in solidarity with the poor and marginalized. During this long span, ESDO has adapted with the changing situation and provided the most time-bound services especially for the poor and disadvantaged. A community focused and people centered approach has been adapted by ESDO while consideration was given to the national policy and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as its guiding principle. ESDO is one of the most dynamic organizations expanding its development interventions across 331 upazilas under 51 districts of Bangladesh covering over 10 million poor and vulnerable people.
∎ ESDO is implementing the Promotion of Rights of Ethnic Minority and Dalits for Improvement Program (PREMDIP) project in Thakurgaon & Dinajpur District funded by HEKS/EPER. The Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Coordinator - PREMDIP is based in Project central office.
∎ She/he is responsible for proper implementation of M&E plan in the Project, coordination and communication with Project Coordinator for M&E related information. She/he is responsible to lead data collection, compute, and analyze data and producing monitoring report and preserve all M&E data and reports. She/he is also responsible to ensure data quality as per HEKS/EPER guideline. He /She provide necessary feedback for better implementation of the Project activities. This is a Central office level position but expected to spend 50% time in the field.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Key Responsibilities
∎ Staff training on Relevant M&E guideline and tools
∎ Conduct regular follow up on project progress as per log frame
∎ Lead M&E data collection,
∎ Regular data quality check throughout the project
∎ Implement M&E framework as per donor guideline, analyze data and produce monitoring report
∎ Regular submission of M&E report to donor
∎ Organisational responsibilities
∎ Contribute to overall goal & objectives of ESDO
∎ Contribute to the development, review and apply of organizational M&E policies and raise issues connected with the Line Managements
∎ Specific responsibilities
∎ Roll out M&E protocol as per HEKS-EPER guideline
∎ Design and/or rollout on online tool/offline M&E data collection tool as required
∎ Ensure accuracy of data
∎ Conduct periodic result change analysis and compare/relate with project output and outcomes as well as goal of the project.
∎ Provide feedback on intervention wise beneficiary list as per donor guideline
∎ Provide regular feedback as per monitoring results
∎ Share the Project performance success and constraint with respective project person(s)
∎ Provide training on monitoring and evaluation to the staff
∎ Prepare monthly and quarterly monitoring reports
∎ Prepare result-based monitoring report
∎ Organize and facilitate orientation and/or training on M&E related issues, online/offline data collection tool for data collectors
∎ Collect good practice, learning and success stories
∎ Conduct additional task assigned by ESDO
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ With combination of qualifications and practical experience in relevant field.
∎ Minimum 03 years professional practical/experience in the M&E field.
∎ Computer skill in MS Access and Excel is essential.
∎ Basic understanding on ICT in M&E
∎ Knowledge of participatory approach, institutional assessment, quantitative and qualitative techniques for various assessments and analysis.
∎ Ability to manage M&E database, including template design, data entry, cleaning, logical checks of monitoring data
∎ Willingness and strong commitment to travel in the remote field adapt hardship and work in a team.
∎ Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Bangla
∎ Report writing, documentation and computer skills (MS Office especially MS word, MS Excel and MS Power point) and Internet tools.
∎ Willing to drive motorcycle and should have valid driving license.
Salary: Tk. 50544 (Monthly)
